Join our BIG impact initiative to reduce hunger and food insecurity in communities across Canada

Kind Village collaborated with the Chefs of Les Toques Blanches Ottawa to raise awareness for hunger and food insecurity in Canada on October 1st, 2017.

Not only are we talking the talk, but we are walking the walk (or stirring the pot!)  and partnering with our friends at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum and the Ottawa Food Bank to build cross-Canada community awareness and support for hunger and food security issues with the launch of #FeedTheCity.

and see who won!

Why?

Because Hunger is Canadian.

13% of Canadians live in a state of food insecurity, leaving them without access to nutritious or sufficient amounts of food.

80% of people who live with hunger don't use food banks.

Many food banks in Canada are only equipped to meet urgent needs and can only offer 3-5 days of food per month per family.

Why not get rid of hunger? Let's get to zero hunger in Canada together.

Make a BIG impact where you live!
